What's in it

Per capsule: 25 billion CFU, guaranteed through expiry.

  • Lactiplantibacillus plantarum 299v (LP299V®) — 10 billion CFU
  • Bifidobacterium lactis HN019 (HOWARU®) — 10 billion CFU
  • Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM (HOWARU®) — 5 billion CFU

No inulin, no chicory root, no added sugar. The full label is below.

How to take it

One capsule a day, morning or night, with or without food. Pick a time you'll remember and keep it. Give it 90 days before you judge it — most women notice the afternoons change first, somewhere in weeks three to six.

Who it is for

Women 40+ whose bloating builds through the day, especially if it started or got worse around perimenopause. If you are pregnant, nursing, immunocompromised or take prescription medication, check with your healthcare provider first.

The symptom no one measures

Same waist. Same Tuesday.

Four and a half inches, in under twelve hours, on a day you ate nothing unusual.

In a study of around 600 women aged 44 to 73, 77% reported bloating and 94% reported digestive symptoms. 82% said it started or got worse around perimenopause. And only a third ever received a formal diagnosis.

Why the last three didn't work

Most probiotics are built for a 25-year-old gut.

There are three specific reasons a generic probiotic does nothing for this. All three are fixable, and all three are why this formula exists.

01

The wrong strains

"Probiotic" is not one thing. Strains are as different from each other as a labrador is from a wolf. Most bottles list a genus and a CFU number and stop there — which tells you roughly nothing about whether it was ever studied for bloating.

02

Dead before they arrive

Most brands count their CFUs on the day of manufacture, then ship a bottle that sits in a warehouse for months. By the time it reaches your kitchen, the number on the label and the number in the capsule are two different numbers.

03

The inulin problem

Most probiotics add inulin or chicory root as a prebiotic. For a gut that's already bloating, inulin is one of the most reliable ways to make the afternoon worse. If you've ever felt worse on a probiotic, check the label — this is usually why.

What's actually in it

Three strains. Named, dosed, and published.

You should be able to look up every organism in this bottle and read the research yourself. So here it is, with the exact strain designations — not just the species.

Strain Dose What it has been studied for
Lactiplantibacillus plantarum 299vLP299V® · Probi 10 billion CFU The most-studied strain for abdominal bloating and discomfort. Carries an FDA GRAS notice. Read the research (opens in a new tab)
Bifidobacterium lactis HN019HOWARU® · IFF 10 billion CFU Randomized trial evidence on whole gut transit time and functional digestive symptoms in adults. Read the research (opens in a new tab)
Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFMHOWARU® · IFF 5 billion CFU One of the longest-documented strains in the category, with decades of published work. Read the research (opens in a new tab)
  • 25 billion CFU guaranteed through expiry
  • Delayed-release, acid-resistant capsule
  • Third-party tested, every batch
  • No inulin
  • No chicory root
  • No added sugar

The number that actually matters

Most brands count CFUs the day they're made. We count them the day they expire.

Probiotics are living organisms, and living organisms die on a shelf. That's why almost every label in this category quotes potency "at time of manufacture" in small print — it's the flattering number.

We guarantee 25 billion CFU at the end of the shelf life, which means the bottle you open in month eleven does what the bottle you opened in month one did. Every batch is tested by an independent lab, and every certificate of analysis is published with its batch number. You can look up the exact bottle in your hand.

Honest expectations

What the first 90 days actually look like

Nothing here happens overnight, and any brand that tells you otherwise is selling you the disappointment in advance. This is the real shape of it.

  1. Week 1–2

    Probably nothing. That's normal.

Some women notice a little more gas in the first few days as things shift. It settles. This is the stage where most people quit, which is exactly why we sell 90 days at a time.

  2. Week 3–6

    The afternoon changes first.

The usual first sign isn't the morning — it's that 4pm no longer has a waistband problem attached to it. Bowel movements tend to get more predictable in the same window.

  3. Week 7–12

It stops being a good day.

The point isn't a dramatic before-and-after. It's that a flat, comfortable evening stops being the exception you notice and becomes the baseline you forget about.

Questions worth asking

Still unsure? Ask a human

Will this help me lose weight?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. This is a digestive comfort product. It is not a weight loss product, it does not contain a metabolism ingredient, and there is no credible evidence that a probiotic makes you lose weight.

What a lot of women find is that their clothes fit differently once the bloating settles — because four inches of distension changes how a waistband sits. That is a different thing from losing weight, and we'd rather be straight with you about which one we're selling.

Won't the bacteria just die in my stomach acid?

That's what the capsule is for. Daily Biotic uses a delayed-release, acid-resistant capsule designed to get through stomach acid and open further along the gut. And because we guarantee 25 billion CFU through the expiry date, the number on the label is the number in the capsule — not the number on the day it was made.

Is there inulin or chicory root in it?

No. No inulin, no chicory root, no added sugar. For a gut that's already bloating, those prebiotics are one of the most common reasons a probiotic makes the afternoon worse.

Why not just drink kefir?

Kefir is a good food. But you don't know which strains are in a given bottle, how many, or how many are still alive when you drink it — and flavored kefir often adds sugar. Daily Biotic gives you three named strains at a guaranteed dose, the same way every day.

How long before I notice something?

Usually weeks three to six, and usually in the afternoon first. Weeks one and two often feel like nothing, which is normal. Give it the full 90 days before you decide — that's why the 90-Day Reset exists.

Can I take it alongside HRT or other medication?

Many women take a probiotic alongside HRT and everyday medication, but we're not your doctor. If you take prescription medication, are immunocompromised, pregnant or nursing, check with your healthcare provider first. If you're on antibiotics, take Daily Biotic at least two hours apart from them.

How does the subscription work?

Daily Biotic arrives every month for $38 and always ships free. The subscription has a 3-month minimum — the length of an honest trial. After your third delivery you can skip, pause, change the date or cancel online in your account, anytime.

What happens if it doesn't work for me?

Email us within 60 days and we refund you. You keep the bottles — no return, no form to print, no questions about why.
